On October 1, 2016, the TechCertRegistry will no longer be accessible by current test takers. Please see below for a list of Frequently Asked Questions. If you would like any additional information, please contact the ITCC directly.

1.       Why is the ITCC no longer supporting the TechCertRegistry (TCR)?

The ITCC is currently researching new technology and platforms to address the needs of test takers to communicate their certification achievements. Updates will be announced when this process is complete and we have the best solution for both test takers and employers.

2.       When is the last day I can access the TCR?

Test takers will have until October 1, 2016, to access their TCR transcript.

3.       What happens to my information that is currently contained in the TCR?

All records and testing history are the property of the certification provider. Please contact the certification provider directly to access your record and testing history. Many certification providers have enhanced their member sites since the TCR was created. We suggest that you review these sites for new capabilities such as direct publication to LinkedIn, customizable web page for candidates, and other features that may be useful to you. 4.       After October 1, how should I communicate my certification achievements to current and future employers?

The ITCC recommends all test takers utilize the sites listed above to obtain a verified transcript from the appropriate test provider. 

In addition, current TCR users are encouraged to keep business-oriented social networking sites (e.g. LinkedIn) up-to-date.
